Lauren Nemroff is a program manager at the Google Cultural Institute in London where she leads the exhibitions program. She collaborates with GCI partners, which include museums, archives, historical sites, and other cultural heritage institutions to bring their collections online and engage local and global audiences.  Dr. Nemroff holds a Ph.D. from the Institute of Fine Arts, New York University where she wrote her dissertation on the Ming dynasty artist Tang Yin (1470-1524).  She has held fellowships at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Center for Advanced Studies in the Visual Arts - National Gallery of Art.  She served on the faculty of Reed College in Portland, Oregon as Assistant Professor of Art History and Humanities. She entered the tech sector, first at Amazon.com and later as the content programming lead for Google Books before joining the Cultural Institute.
